We are now recruiting for the following position: Telecom Transport Systems Engineer-Implementation Design and maintain a regional DWDM and MPLS Ethernet transport system as well as maintain Enterprise routers, switches, and firewalls and some SONET. Implement a multi-protocol SCADA network (OSPF,BGP,MPLS,VRF). Create procedures, design modified service routes, send customer notices and supervise remote system modifications. Test and configure new access equipment, optical or Ethernet services prior to customer release. Coordinate performance tests by field engineers and technicians. Initiate and track service requests. Be a team player in large scale network projects. This position will work Monday through Friday 7:45-4:30. 1-2 years experience in designing, managing, and provisioning telecommunications networks is required. Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Management or related field is required (EE, IS, or MIS with a minor in Telecommunications). Directly related experience may potentially be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
