Duties incl, but not limited to designing & mng'g database syst's by using several DBMS techs like Oracle, Oracle RAC & MySQL for mission critical bus. which handle lrg amounts of traffic & transactional data. Bachelor's or equiv in CS, Math, or rel. field. 7 yrs exp in field of relational database admin. Must have: 5 yrs exp of Linux or Solaris operation. 7 yrs exp of database operations of Oracle, Oracle RAC & MySQL. 7 yrs exp working w/ mission critical databases which perform over 1,000 QPS transactions & over 10TB size. Employer will accept any amount of exp for following: Knowl of UNIX operation. Exp building & operating Oracle RAC syst. Exp building & operating MySQL Replication function. Exp data modeling & logical designing. Exp operating several DBMS for production environ. Exp designing & deploying Oracle Exadata machine.
