Seeking a self-motivated and seasoned Systems Support Administrator prepared to add value to our IT Infrastructure department.

In this position, you will be part of a technical team tasked with introducing new technologies, providing efficient resolutions of technical problems and requests as well as sharing knowledge when applicable. This includes support of the physical data center as well as remote locations, including all of the server and network hardware and software, not excluding desktop support.

Responsibilities:
• Identify and resolve issues in a quality and expeditious manner
• Communicate and be able to explain all aspects of work completed
• Troubleshoot and demonstrate professionalism at all times
• Ability to contact vendors for all degrees of project management
• Lead and/or participate on corporate level IT projects
• Manage external resources, suppliers, and contracts
• Collaborate in the global IT infrastructure team (at an international level)
• Support and improve system environment and services
• Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure across multiple sites
• Document operational and support procedures
• Participate and coordinate IT Infrastructure incident and problem management (ticketing system)
• Attend and heavily participate in all IT related meetings and/or brainstorming sessions
• Self-starter, self-learner, and self-motivated
• Being able to work on several activities/projects seamlessly
• Take direction and delegation without contention

Knowledge and experience in the following is required:
• 3 years minimum experience providing purely level 1 help desk support
• Excellent communicating skills with experience working with various types of management
• Proficient in MS Windows 7/8/10, Mac OS X, MS Office
• MS Windows Server 200x/201x - (Administration, Clustering, IIS, DHCP, DNS/WINS, DFS, Group Policy, etc.)
• Active Directory 2008 and up - (manipulation including, but not limited to, user creation, password/group/OU
maintenance and other various day to day activities.)
• MS Exchange 2010 – (manipulation including, but not limited to, mailbox/contacts/distribution group
maintenance as well as database maintenance.)
• Basic functional knowledge of MS Powershell, especially when used with AD and MS Exchange
• Functional engineering knowledge of Cisco equipment - (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)
• Functional engineering knowledge of VMWare ESX 5 or higher and related architecture
• Functional engineering knowledge of Citrix 6.5 or higher and related architecture
• Functional understanding of Wireless technologies
• Functional understanding of routing and VPN technologies
• Ability to administer mobile client configuration and access rights specifically if done by MDM
• Dell and HP server hardware maintenance experience
• Data Storage (EMC) management experience
• Ability to work rotating shifts beginning at 7AM or 9AM
• 24x7 rotational on-call technical support experience
• Able to lift 35 lb.

Knowledge and experience in the following is a plus:
• Command line tools and utilities (SysInternals, nMap, etc.).
• Usage of Symantec Enterprise Vault
• Support and maintenance of Symantec/Veritas Backup Exec
• Knowledge of java-based trading system software - (JTrader, Barx, M-Trade Pro, etc.)
• Data Feed software – (Reuters, Bloomberg, CQG, Future Source, Fast Markets, etc.)

Familiarity with the following concepts, procedures and/or software:
• Change management procedures
• Purchase order creation
• Video Conferencing
• MS SQL Server 200x backups and queries
• MS Sharepoint 2007/2010 administration
• RMS or equivalent rights management systems implementation and reporting
• Hyper-V
