IBA is actively recruiting for an Android Programmer to support our Department of Defense (DoD) client located in Frederick, MD. The Android Programmer analyzes project requirements; develops use cases; provides technical reviews; creates, develops and executes test plans; and analyzes, designs, writes, tests, troubleshoots and documents code and processes for mobile computer applications. Additionally, this position isresponsible for integrating Android iOS or Blackberry RIM (Research in Motion) Operating System into medical applications with 4G cellular systems and tactical radio systems running various military radio platforms, defined radio wave forms, etc. TheAndroid Programmer integrates applications with other DoD and Army applications, as well as military cellular and radio communications systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Integrate software applications, arising from Government research objectives, with various Android, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Operating System (OS) devices including those supported by the Army Program Manager (PM) Soldier NettWarrior Futures Division and the Army PM Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care. * Integrate software medical applications with the legacy and future DoD Program of Record EHR and other medical systems as directed by the government, allowing for the transmission of information from research software components through the use of the appropriate government-specified data formats. * Integrate medical applications with Internet Protocol (IP) based communication devices to enable transmission of medical information between source and destination systems. * Develop computer, mobile, and web applications using common computing languages and standards to include JAVA, J2EE, Java Script, C, C++, C#, Objective C, PHP, Structure Query Language, Hypertext Markup Language, JavaScript Object Notation and Cascading Style Sheets. * Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: * Demonstrated experience in planning, designing, developing and documenting applications for Android cellular end user devices, from concept through deployment. * Ability to multi-task. * Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications: * Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level-I (A+, Network +, or SSCP) and Computer Environment (CE) Certifications. Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in computer related field. * Must have a minimum 3-5 years Android programming experience. * Must have a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience.
