Application Developer



Minimum of 5-7+ years of related experience in TSQL(including stored procedures, indexing, triggers and cursors) application support or TSQL application development. Ability to demonstrate effective written and oral communication and organization skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: select or refine from these sentences

This position will have application support responsibility and normally will NOT supervise others in the department.

* Knowledge and awareness ofproducts and how customers use them

* Applies effective customer service and teamwork practices at all times.

* Customer support (phone and email) ofproducts during business hours – receives, documents, and carefully analyzes incoming support requests (via phone, email), inquiries, and trouble reports.

* Promptly troubleshoots and resolves all issues that fall within the scope of Application Support 1 Developer staff capabilities, thoroughly documenting each step.

* Promptly and properly escalates unresolved issues, including complete problem descriptions, documentation of all actions performed, and all other pertinent details.

* Collaborates with stakeholders (App Support 2 team, Business Analysts, etc.)

* After hours support ofproducts and issue resolution.

* Maintain call tracking and resolution follow-up

* Documenting issues in tracking tool (e.g., TFS) for tracking, closure, measurement and analysis

* User training and support


* Tag recovery

* Settlement/Price re-pulls

* Monitor, plan, and executeproduct certificate renewals for customers

* Monitor IssueLog and Support schedule email notifications

* Monitor batch job execution

* Assist with customer installs (certificates, jobs, config files)

* Configuration setup
