Duties: Analyze user requirements, procedures, and business and data processing problems to automate, implement, and improve computer systems. Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Provide support for LRI, FinRisk Portal, SPEX, and other applications as assigned. Ensure applications are maintained uptime and operational for users, and make needed adjustments. Monitor daily LRI Reference Data, Start of Day, Prelim, and Final processing, and monitor LRI End of Month activities. Perform system health checks to ensure data is accurate and available to users. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) activities. Identify, debug, and document for tracking and metric purposes any online and production issues and report errors within established SLAs. Identify product defects, perform root cause analysis on the issues, raise service requests to vendors, and follow through to conclusion of the service request. Ensure information technology service management (ITSM) requests are addressed and closed on a timely basis. Monitor Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) reports to inform Exadata team, and prevent impacts to LRI. Execute deployments by reviewing changes, ensuring production readiness, deploying scripts, addressing issues, and validating changes. Prepare audit documentation in the event of an audit.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as Oracle Database Administrator, PeopleSoft Administrator, Software Developer/Engineer, Production/Application Support, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Oracle Database Administrator, PeopleSoft Administrator, Software Developer/Engineer, Production/Application Support, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: production support, analysis, and debugging; liquidity risk infrastructure; Oracle 11g and 12c; SQL and PL SQL procedures, functions, and views; Java and J2EE; Unix; Cloud ABB; Gaia; Eclipse; App Dynamics; SPEX and FinRisk portal applications; BPM job scheduler; Exadata database; SOX and audit protocols; LDAP; shell scripting; database and SQL performance monitoring, analysis, and tuning; Oracle DBA with 11g/12c RAC and OEM; Composite Studio; Agg Engine; Control-M; Tivoli; and AutoSys. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Spring; Struts framework; and Hibernate plus ORM tools.
