If you have audio/video installation experience, or a strong understanding of A/V signal flow plus installation experience in a related field, then this is the opportunity for you.

We’re looking for talented AV installation technicians for a full-time positions in our deployment team, based in Plano, TX. As an A/V installation technician with Swagit you’ll experience high visibility and the chance to work with a dedicated team committed to providing excellent customer service.

What you’ll do:

* Assemble A/V systems to predefined specifications
* Determine the resources needed to complete new broadcast installations based on deployment plans
* Travel as a team to customer sites for installation/testing of broadcast systems
* Communicate with customers and peers throughout the spec, build and installation phases
* Troubleshoot systems including signal flow, software and basic networking issues

Requirements

* Thorough knowledge of audio/video equipment
* Sound understanding of computer hardware installation and troubleshooting
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Able to climb ladders, lift over 50lbs, work in tight spaces
* Willing to travel up to 50% of the time

Preferred Skills

* Basic carpentry/construction knowledge
* Structured cabling experience for existing walls and pre-construction wire installation
* AV certifications such as CTS or Crestron DMC-E preferred
* Extron, Crestron, AMX or similar presentation system experience
* Live broadcast production (directing, camera operator, etc.) experience
