We’re building the best infrastructure automation the world has seen and we’re looking for the best and brightest to join our Puppet Pipelines team and make a real impact in the server management space.
This is a hands on role where you’ll be responsible for building and owning some or most of the core components that power our platform. You’ll produce well architected, carefully implemented and well tested code that runs in production from day one. Finally you’ll lead by example, designing and architecting new services, setting standards for code quality, and mentoring other engineers. Developers on the team will look to you as the gold standard, seek you out for code reviews and value the insights that few can provide.

– You have a passion for the whole stack, from pixels to performance
– You know and care about algorithmic complexity and the difference between O(n) & O(n log n)
– You take pride in writing well tested perfect software that operates flawlessly in production
– You navigate cloud services (S3, DynamoDB, SQS) in your sleep and know how to pick the best components to achieve the functionality and performance you need
– Java and / or Go
– Experience with Distributed systems, multi-threaded programming & concurrency
– Algorithms & Data structures
– AWS EC2, S3, SQS, DynamoDB
– REST Services and APIs
– Linux / OS services
– 4+ years of professional experience

– Requires contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, virtual meetings, VOIP or otherwise) and working and interacting in a group or team
