Building Department Clerical
This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will have a general knowledge of building processes and perform a variety of clerical support functions for the Building Department. Clerical functions include processing incoming phone calls, scheduling inspections, data entry, processing permit applications, filing and archive maintenance.
This position requires strong attention to details and organizational skills in a fast pace, dynamic environment. Basic computer skill and knowledge are required. Minimum Qualifications include high school graduate or equivalent combined with a minimum of two to three years of relevant work experience. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with diverse populations are required. Strong organizational skills, accuracy and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are essential. Individual must have good oral and written communication skills, sound judgment and be able to work independently.
