Job Summary
Seeking an enthusiastic, results oriented, customer focused, and business systems oriented individual looking for an opportunity with an industry leading power transformer manufacturer in the electric power industry. This cross-functional role, through effective, timely and active communication, will be responsible for managing quotation & pricing processes, systems & data. This highly valued and action oriented team member will be part of a talented team yielding ~$400M in sales / annually. Key metrics for the role include Business Systems Project Metrics, Pricing Tools implementation, data management processes as well as development of commercial front-end, operational metrics related to proposal and order delivery / quality, pricing performance and data integrity.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and facilitate the implementation of business systems technology to effectively manage proposals, order management, and project execution for SPX Transformer Solutions.
Function as a liaison between the Commercial team and Enterprise IT to gather and define business requirements and support project execution, research emerging business processes, tools and technologies that enable growth of the business.
Work with cross-functional team members in Finance, Design Engineering, Sourcing, Operations, and IT to support and/or lead strategic initiatives relevant to business system implementation requirements.
Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate data in SAP Quotation, Order Management and Project Systems.
Support engineering initiatives related to design enhancements in SAP Variant Configurator.
Work with Product Management, Marketing Analytics and IT to develop a product-attribute based pricing system.
Assist in the Implementation of pricing analytics processes.
Product attribute/price management process and tools development
Develop roadmaps and drive CRM project roadmaps.
Develop a sales manual document management system within the CRM application that addresses content needs for both internal and external customers.
Develop dashboard visualizations for the commercial front-end to facilitate proactive management of business operations.
Manage data quality reporting
Provide training, tools and skills to enable team members to efficiently and effectively use commercial business system tools.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Transformer application, design and manufacturing knowledge
Business acumen – including sales, profitability, and customer engagement
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, CRM, Business Intelligence applications
Manage through complex situations and make decisions with incomplete information
Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to internal and external customer needs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required Education / Experience
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
3-5 Years of Experience in a Change or ETO Environment
5-7 years customer facing / sales / business systems analyst experience
5-10 years electric power industry experience
Systems Knowledge: ERP, CRM, Microsoft, BI, Others
6 Sigma, CI, or Lean Performance Systems acumen
Preferred Education / Experience
Bachelors of Science; Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Computer Science
