Description Huntington Ingalls Industries – Technical Solutions Division, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide. HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking a Database Administrator to work out of Memphis, TN. The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending upon assignments and other factors. Duties and Responsibilities: * Determining the cause of problems both in terms of functionality and performance, to include providing after action reports with root cause analysis * Identifying corrective actions for database issues * Coordinating database solution implementation * Providing end-to-end support for build and deployment activities * Conducting data migrations across the various environments * Providing support for Configuration, Change, and Release Management (CCRM) activities * Provide on-call problem resolution and support * Performance tuning of database instances across various applications * Creating database schemas and associated configurations * Creating scripts to support DB creation and related activities * Generating and maintaining scripts to automate common operations & maintenance tasks * Providing end-to-end support for production and alternate production deployment activities * Troubleshooting database related issues across environments Qualifications and Experience: Required- * Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience (focus in technical field a plus, for example: engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field) plus at least 7 years of professional experience * Experience with Oracle 11g and 12c Enterprise Database * Must have strong experience in Oracle RAC, ASM and Performance Tuning * Experience with Linux Operating systems and shell scripting * Experience monitoring and managing Oracle performance using Oracle OEM * Excellent analytic, troubleshooting, partitioningand performance tuning skills * Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills * Ability to analyze complex and large amounts of data * Strong communications skills (both verbal & written) Security: * Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information * Must be able to obtain and keep a USPS Sensitive Clearance * Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a Green Card and have been livingin the U.S. for at least the last five years * Must not have traveled outside of the United States for more than 180 days in the last five years * All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
