GIS Software Engineer

Be a part of our mission and help build a company that is changing the world. We are currently looking for a Geospatial Engineer to join our Data Pipeline team. The Role: Our Data Pipeline team processes vast quantities of satellite image data into beautiful, visual products that provide scientifically useful analytics and actionable information. Our Inputs include our own Dove, RapidEye, and SkySat satellites constellations, as well as, a variety of other sources. Your contributions will help us deliver customer-quality imagery, improve our data processing pipelines, and build real-time, global mosaics from the ground up. The Must-Haves – 8+ years of experience writing software to manipulate geospatial data – Extensive knowledge of GDAL and other open-source GIS tools – Experience writing production code in Python The Nice-to-Haves – Familiarity with remote sensing data – Experience with digital image processing techniques
