Motor Truck Equipment Company’s Carlisle location is looking for 2nd shift Heavy Duty Diesel Technician.Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, and other various components found on all heavy duty truck makes and models.Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:* Accurately diagnose vehicle problems based on customer reports and inspections* Document work in progress on repair orders* Perform repairs according to dealership standards and factory specs* Road test vehicle, if necessaryRequirements:* High school diploma or GED* Basic computer skills* Prior hands-on diesel experience or graduate of vocational diesel courses* Necessary tools to perform job duties* Willing to work any shift, on-call, or mobile* Valid CDL license and medical card preferred* State inspection (minimum of Class 3) preferred* PACCAR, Cummins, CAT, ASE, and 609 certifications preferred
