Job Summary

As a Lead Java Developer you will support our client to deliver API solutions.

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, on-site, and is a contract position.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver API based solutions using Java Spring Boot

  • Design and delivering messaging solutions using Kafka

  • Deliver hybrid integrations between cloud applications and traditional systems

  • Programming Spring Boot/Python frameworks

  • Use docker/container stack architecture, technologies, and platforms that includes Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.

  • Utilize DevOps, DevSecOps and Application Performance Management implementations

  • Design and implementation experience with projects that encompass microservices, API gateways like IBM Datapower, Apigee, etc.

  • Translate the functional requirement to technical design

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or equivalent

  • 7 + years of experience in Software Engineering and development using Java

  • Experience with APIs and DevOps

  • Experience in enterprise integration space using iPass solutions

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
