Linux Academy is seeking a creative UI/UX Designer to lead our team and support the thousands of students around the world who learn through us and our cloud technology. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their work load, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment while also leading a team doing the same. The UX/UI Designer is the bridge between the user and the product. A UX/UI Designer is expected to be able to create user-friendly interfaces for all of our products, as well as, test with users, new designs and ways to increase conversion. Your day to day will include:

* Providing team leadership and coaching
* Focus team on tasks at hand or internal/external customer requirements
* Coordinate team logistics

* UX/UI Design

* Create Wireframes, Site Architectures, and user experience flows for our products
* Create user interfaces that are focused on the experience of the user.
* Create and Maintain brand standards across all of our products
* Organize UX Documentation for developers on new features
* Work with marketing department to create A/B tests for conversion
* Create and maintain processes for the UX/UI Team


* 5+ Years of UI/UX Design Experience
* Killer Portfolio
* Strong Knowledge and Experience using: Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Abstract, Invision

* Proven work experience and excellence in providing high quality design and user experience in an efficient and timely manner
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Organizational and time-management skills
* Ability to make quick and smart decisions under pressure
* Must be available to work in office located in Keller, TX.
* You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Skills

* Proven experience as a team leader or manager for 1+ years
* Knowledge of performance metrics (especially the OKR system)
* Knowledge of HTML/CSS

* Agile Methodology Knowledge
