Serves as a liaison between the business community and IT Operations in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Educates customers on the direction of IT Operations. Direct and provide governance over processes and procedures used by IT Operations Business Analysis and Quality Assurance personnel to ensure compliance.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology
Facilitates communication between business unit(s) and IT Operations as to BA / QA best practices, policies and procedures
Works with business partners across functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
Supports and manages very complex business processes in the creation of end-to-end process classifications
Provide guidance to the IT Operations organization / business on how to implement best practices, policies and procedures
Provide mentorship and coaching to entry, junior and associate level team members, including interns, to ensure a effective assimilation to the team and resource for professional growth
Oversees a department of the IT functional area
Implements changes communicated from IT Operations BA/QA leadership
Ensures compliance with IT Operations policies and procedures
Identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives within the BA/QA IT Operations team
Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Advanced ability to identify emerging industry trends and refine current methodologies and best practices.
Advanced knowledge of compliance, governance structures and audit principles.
Advanced knowledge of project impacts of changes made to process flows that span across multiple business lines and platforms.
Knowledge of TMForum Frameworx, BABOK, BPMN and QA best practices
Ability to foster new relationships across the enterprise
Ability to lead and mentor teams
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
Related Work Experience
7 plus years of relevant technical or business work experience
