POSITION TITLE: Microservices Developer

POSITION LOCATION
India: Remote

YOUR ROLE
As an IT team member, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing technology solutions that are the foundation of the world class customer service that our customers expect and deserve – now and in the future.

In this role you will be working very closely with Project Stakeholders, vendors and Technical team. As part of your role, you will be responsible to support multiple technologically diverse applications. You will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and developing microservices-based application. This role is a very engaging mix of hands on technical work as well as to show leadership skills. You will need a blend of superb problem-solving and innovation skills to resolve a wide variety of technical production challenges. You will be working with Stakeholders and Solution Architects who thrive through innovation and will ensure ample room for innovation on every project you are involved in.

What you will be doing
• Design, develop, and implement microservices-based applications using Spring Boot framework
• Act as a hands-on technical support for the team to ensure all objectives are met
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Act as a lead to design, develop, document, test and maintain applications and processes
• Work with Production Support /Run the Shop IT Partner vendor team and provide directions and assistance.
• Create and maintain containerized deployments of microservices using Kubernetes and related technologies
• Responsible for building and maintaining design standards and best practices and ensure to adhere these standards
• Evaluates and recommends unique hardware /software configurations; defines special hardware/software requirements, capacities, capabilities, etc. to meet user needs while adhering to technical standards

What you bring
• Overall, 4 to 6 years of experience
• In-depth knowledge and hands on experience in Spring Boot, Kubernetes and AWS cloud
• Proficient in Programming theory, practice and combined with strong hands-on experience in enterprise architectures
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience in building and consuming APIs.
• Proficient in SQL and Database Design and SQL Tuning
• Unix Shell Scripting knowledge or PowerShell scripting knowledge along with enough experience in any Enterprise Operating system
• Must have full lifecycle project experience in developing IT solutions
• Must be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong focus on providing service to the customer.
• Out of the box thinking; Flexible / Critical thinking skills a must.
• Able to sell concepts and designs / benefits to multiple audiences.
• Able to work independently and in diverse, co-located and remote teams
