We’re looking for a Principal Salesforce (SFDC) Architect and Technical Owner to own everything SFDC here at HMH. We’ve been live with SFDC over 10 years and are looking for our next employee, who will drive our initiative to upgrade and standardize our solutions.

In this high-visibility role, you’ll be at the forefront of the most critical operations of HMH. You love to talk to the business, and have a desire to learn not just the technology, but also the functionality of SFDC as well as our core business.

This is not a back-office position. You’ll have exposure to key sales employees and build processes for them that make their lives easier and drive revenue.

As Principal Salesforce Architect and Technical Owner, you will:

  • Direct the configuration and development activities of SFDC at HMH
  • Deploy business solutions on the SDFC platform.
  • Partner with the Operations, Sales and Service business teams as it relates to SFDC
  • Provide leadership and direction for team members in the SFDC Center of Excellence. (both internal & external resources)
  • Consults with and provides guidance to Operations, Sales, Service and TG partners regarding effective systems design, support and tool deployment
  • Work with SFDC stakeholders to gather requirements to meet the business needs and provide effective SAAS solutions
  • Take a lead role for major and minor business system programs for key HMH initiatives (e.g. SAP implementation as it relates to SFDC integration.)
  • Ensure “Best Practice” use of SFDC application with a “Configure” first philosophy
  • Build your knowledge base and keep up with SFDC new functionality through industry quarterly releases, attending DreamForce conferences, and getting involved in the local Salesforce community.

 

Experience required:

5+ years’ experience with driving major SAAS & SFDC implementations & program work in an enterprise or consulting environment.

Bachelor’s degree

Ability to influence cross-functional teams to the correct solutions (and decisions) that provide robust business outcomes
