Program Management Director
Duties: Responsible for facing-off with key business partners in order to understand the strategy, direction, and roadmap objectives for the business. Responsible for end-to-end Project Delivery and Execution (Scope through Implementation) of the key programs and projects which are aligned to their area of focus. Lead technology programs containing multiple, interrelated projects targeted at achieving an overall business goal. Understand application development, infrastructure, risk, cyber security and control. Work with multiple internal co-suppliers, external vendors, and business partners to negotiate and influence driving technology initiatives. Lead programs from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, analysis, design development and implementation. Establish project requirements, priorities, and deadline. Resolve issues for the entire portfolio and across multiple platforms and manage risk across portfolios. Translate business strategy into defined projects. Ensure project is completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant firmwide guidelines. Coordinate resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects. Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members. Responsible for creation of multi year roadmaps and associated budgets that impact multiple business and technology groups.
Minimum education required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum experience required: 10 years of experience in Data Center, Cloud Infrastructure and Agile Program Management, or related experience.
Skills Required: Must have experience with SDLC methodology, including Agile and Waterfall. Must have experience with Standard Project Lifecycle. Must have demonstrated understanding of technology infrastructure, including data center, virtual and physical server, storage, and cloud. Must have experience with application development, including Object Oriented programming, service oriented architecture, scripting and production support. Must have experience with cyber security and control. Must have experience working with multiple business partners and external vendors. Must have experience in Risk Management.
