Project Manager, PMO Initiatives (must have marketing experience to apply)

This role will be responsible for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of EA’s Mobile Marketing efforts on a global scale. By driving clear accountabilities and seamless collaboration, this role will profoundly impact EA’s ability to build trust with players, innovate with disruptive marketing and achieve strong business results.

A central area of focus will be the creation of the Mobile Marketing Collaboration Framework (MCF). It encompasses creating, supporting, maintaining and optimizing the mobile Marketing processes and change management activities associated with new process development. Along with the Director of PMO, this role will partner with all Marketing team members to continuously optimize overall deliverables process that yields improved timelines and/or optimization of deliverable quality. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the PM for MCF-HD to capture learning and bring synergies that will help inform the Mobile MCF.


Driving Mobile Marketing Process

Develop, document and maintain Mobile Marketing processes (MCF) in partnership with cross-functional Marketing teams across EA
Develop long-term adoption and improvement strategy
Create monthly checkpoints with drivers of milestones to ensure formal feedback loops are in place
Manage and own tracking and reporting of program performance
Coordinate, establish and maintain process governance
Conduct regular review of processes ensuring optimization and scalability
Lead and define change management activities associated with new processes in partnership with Marketing leaders

Managing Key Performance Indicators & Operational Excellence

Work with Manager and cross-functional teams to establish KPIs for each MCF component
Manage all reporting of the org-wide scorecard, with consistent tracking across all businesses – i.e. monitor key KPIs and flag when the org is falling short in any given area
Maintain cross-functional dashboard that (a) measures results and provides insights to execution effectiveness/timeliness/quality (b) provides executive visibility
Maintain and optimize as appropriate, tools used to manage project plan tracking, reporting and approval/authorization flow including any technology ecosystem, dashboards, and project management systems
Support the establishment of standards that create a tighter business rhythm for the Central Marketing Organization to ‘free up’ team bandwidth to focus energy on innovation/disruption
Develop a mechanism to consistently share best practices across Mobile Marketing teams – from meeting hygiene to campaign-specific deliverables
Lead tactical cross-functional projects that relate directly to the improvement of MCF


BS or BA degree in Business required; MBA a plus
5+ years of experience in Project/Process Management
Experience partnering with Marketing teams in a matrixed org
Proven experience in providing project solutions across multiple disciplines that consider process and technology
Deep experience in developing simple, efficient processes for a set of complex activities
PMP, Six Sigma or equivalent certification required
