Position can be based in Southfield, MI or Chicago, IL The primary responsibility of the Project Manager- Transitions & Implementations is to lead successful new business onboarding implementations, communication campaigns, meeting timelines and budget requirements. The Project Manager- Transitions & Implementations coordinates and prioritizes project tasks, manages timelines, maintains project plans and communicates status to Business Owners, Senior Management and Customers as needed. Additionally, the manager often works with customers and may need to travel on-site to customer meetings. Ensuring the project is implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements is another responsibility. The Project Manager- Transitions & Implementations is also responsible for managing multiple customer projects at one time. They will also be responsible for participating in internal projects as needed. This role is also responsible for scope management, change management, estimating impacts of scope change (timeline and cost) as well as managing project resources. Your day to day role will include: * Ensuring delivery according to project timelines in order to ensure revenue recognition according to forecast. * Documenting Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) instructions for all ongoing business and transitioning the project to the Operations team. * Process Improvement: Leading "Current State and Future state" assessments around functionality and/or processes. This will include white boarding, utilizing MS Visio and determining business improvement areas. * Provide on-line meetings and conference calls to orientate new customers, present new functionality, perform training, and collaborate with customers about concerns. * Teamwork: Work closely with Transition and Operations Team to ensure appropriate follow-up of identifying customer needs and follow-up activities. * Travel: Travel is required (25%-50%). * Project Management: Responsible for providing Business Owners and/or customers with updated implementation plans, which may include project schedules, project plans, benchmark metrics, communications documents, follow-up memo’s, etc. * Documentation: Responsible for utilizing (and creating) documents/deliverables necessary for providing exceptional services and ensuring communication of the project plan to the Business Owners and/or customer. Assist team in updating all implementation deliverables as required with new Shared Services rollouts. Create new deliverables/best practices for implementation services to enhance implementation engagements. * Responsibility for detecting potential issues and implementing solutions when issues threaten to delay the timeline or impact budget or business operations. You Have: * A self-starters attitude, who is able to work and deliver results in a fast paced dynamic environment. * Strong initiative to produce improvement initiatives both internally and with customers. * Excellent communication and customer management skills in order to maintain positive customer relations. * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Engineering or related disciplines. * 2-4 years of management experience, preferably gained in a project management, performance/continuous improvement or consulting role. * Strong skills with MS Office suite including: PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Word. * PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification. * Black Belt LEAN Six Sigma Certification. * Strong internal communication skills including ability to work with all levels of the organization. * Troubleshooting and problem solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple customers, projects, tasks, expectations simultaneously. * Ability to ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, customer responsiveness, and thorough communication.
