The MM-IM-WM Consultant will work in a client facing role implementing SAP projects that transform business processes. 
Basic responsibilities encompass the full lifecycle of projects, including process analysis, conducting workshops, providing recommendations and options for team consideration, writing design documents and flow charts, developing functional specifications, documenting and executing test scripts, writing training documents, delivering user training, and executing Go Live transitions with Hypercare support.  The candidate will understand adherence with the project scope and recognize when to escalate developments to the Project Management Office (PMO) which impact the project cost or timeline.
Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Master Data, 
  • Strong MM -Purchasing experience is required
  • Demonstrated understanding of integration points with other modules including SD, PP, PM, Manufacturing, and QM
  • Experienced with configuration, custom designs, and data migration tools
  • Working knowledge with ASAP, Activate, or other Project Methodologies
  • Proficient with Batch Management, Classifications, and Characteristics
  • Complete understanding of Inventory Management, stock transfers, special stocks, and stock types
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management and applicable Master Data
  • Demonstrated understanding of integration points with other modules including IM, SD, PP, Manufacturing, and QM
  • Experienced with configuration, custom designs, and data migration tools
  • Complete understanding of Warehouse Management, Inbound / Outbound delivery processing, Transfer Orders, Cycle Counts, Inventory reconciliation, Shipping, and Transportation Management
  • Track record on IM, Lean WM (storage location level), and WM (bin level) environments
  • Comprehension with Mobile Data Entry and RF units, both handheld and truck mounted
  • Clarity with Kanban, replenishments, inventory consumption from IM and WM storage locations, along with COGI error resolutions
  • Capability managing third party logistics and logistics service providers, including integrations with SAP
  • Working knowledge of transactional data objects such as Purchase Info Records, Purchasing documents, BOMs, Production / Process Orders, Resources, MRP, Production Versions, Quality Notifications, and Quality Usage Decisions
  • Displays detailed understanding of Storage Types, Storage Sections, Warehouse Strategies, Storage Units, Handling Units, and Serialized Shipping Container Codes (SSCC)
  • Adept at troubleshooting and resolving operational SAP issues
  • Proven skills developing WRICEF Functional Specifications
  • Multiple project experience in a consulting or business process role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Available to travel 100% to client sites as directed
  • Confident written, verbal, and inter-personal communication skills

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Applicable SAP or Industry Certifications
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager
  • Understanding and experience with SAP Best Practices
  • Experience in a team lead role
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
