Position: SCRUM MASTER
JOB REF#: 30464
Duration: 6+ Months (On-going Contract)

Location: Plano, TX 75024 (on-site only)
Rate: Open/Market Rate, depends on experience level (W2 ONLY)

Scrum Master is the servant leader for the team and must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to. All work will be performed on-site and you must be available for a face to face interviews.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

– Accountable for guiding, coaching, teaching and assisting team in Scrum/Agile principles and driving process improvement.

– Works with the team to deliver value and coordinates within and outside of the team to facilitate the completion of the team’s backlog.

– Assure the team adheres to Scrum and facilitates the scrum ceremonies:

– Facilitate Daily Scrum / stand up, Story Point Estimation, Sprint Planning, Backlog refinement, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives and Sprint Kaizen

– Work with Product Owner to prioritize Epics, Features and User Stories

– Capture and report team performance metrics (Velocity)

– Performs coaching, advocates, protects and solves problems as required.

– Proactively helps the team identify and resolve impediments and shields team from interruptions during the Sprint.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (Resume must reflect this experience)


– Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum process, language and ceremonies.


– 3+ years of Agile delivery experience.


– CSM, PSM, or ACP or Scrum Master Agile Certified


– MUST have a stable work history, enterprise level experience

– Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and processes.

– Experience with ServiceNow Application Lifecycle Management.

– Experience with ServiceNow Service Mapping.

– Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum process, language and ceremonies.

– Must reside locally and available to interview in-person

– Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

– Education: Bachelors Degree

DESIRED SKILLS:

– 2+ years of ServiceNow CMDB support.
