Visit CenturyLink for more information.  Job Summary Responsible for maximizing the competitiveness and financial performance of network security product portfolio. An entrepreneurial product leader rresponsible for defining product strategy, developing and executing the product roadmap, managing financial growth and profitability, and developing detailed market requirements for network based security offerings. Adept at communicating our product capabilities to both internal and external audiences via written and verbal presentations. This role provides opportunity to make an immediate impact on both our short-term deliverables and long-term strategic goals. Requires leading matrixed organizations responsible for the development and lifecycle management of a complex product ecosystem that includes IT systems, networks, and 3rd party vendors and partners. Job Description Subject matter expert for network security product portfolio – expert on competition, market dynamics, product definition, points of differentiation, value proposition, and quote to cash experience. Should have a working understanding of the relevant technologies including Internet, VPN, SD WAN, and other Security services. Develops and articulates vision and market strategy across their product portfolio. Identifies market direction, creates and prioritizes product roadmap. Leads the development of new products and features, writes detailed market and product requirements, prioritizes product backlog, develops financial justification, and champions the ask to internal stakeholders. Guides and directs system development to ensure systems are properly built to meet product specifications. Manages all aspects of the portfolio’s financials for growth, revenue, and profitability. Understands and actively manages all levers that impact financials including pricing, funnel, opex, capex and customer churn. Develops and maintains commercial constructs for product to maximize growth and profitability. Monitors custome and operational metrics for the portfolio against industry leading benchmarks. Champions development, organization, and process improvements in quote to cash processes to ensure a market leading customer experience. Leads cross functional team by casting vision, illustrating tactics/strategy, and holds team members accountable. Leads a matrixed team in the continued support of the growth and lifecycle management of the portfolio to dates and deliverables. Creates and delivers product related training across all organizations and create critical sales tools necessary to convey the product definition, value proposition, and points of differentiation. Manages specific customer facing deliverables including contracts and service guides. Negotiates business terms and conditions for critical customer contracts.
