Position Description
As a Senior .NET Developer at CGI, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using .NET frameworks. Your future duties and responsibilities
– Architect, design, and develop robust .NET-based applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
– Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and oversight throughout the software development lifecycle.
– Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to existing processes and methodologies.
– Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and foster a culture of best practices within the development team.
– Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
– Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
– 7+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development, showcasing proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies.
– Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies and design patterns.
– Strong understanding of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
– Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, or similar.
– Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
