Boeing Human Resource Services is seeking a Senior Program Manager in core operations that will enable the business to achieve its strategic goals. The ideal candidate will thrive in a change readiness environment, inspire and leverage the expertise of the team, and drive results using program management best practices.

This role is a high-level individual contributor, not a management position.

Position responsibilities:

– Influence, negotiate, and act as a change agent for implementing complex, innovative process improvements and for creating a process management culture.

– Work with diverse team members to drive business outcomes at the program manager level.

– Work closely with team leads to ensure continual visibility of multiple projects.

– Act as a liaison between the team and the functional and senior leader stakeholders.

– Lead integration of cross-functional processes across a multitude of stakeholder groups.

– Manage the accuracy of deliverables and results and communicate to all stakeholders.

– Collect, analyze, document, and integrate requirements from multiple process owners.

– Oversee recommendations for process, data, and applications/systems architecture.

– Leads, facilitates development, and deploys integrated strategic plans for process improvement/management and organizational direction.

– Prepare work estimates, as required, for assigned tasks using cost benefit analysis.

– Evaluates, reviews, and audits existing and proposed processes for technical effectiveness and satisfaction of functional requirements, policies, and procedures.

– Prepare presentations/recommendations for diverse audiences, including executive leadership.

– Actively work with project sponsors to set clear scope boundaries to prevent scope creep and help assigns appropriate resources.

– Establish a monitoring plan to monitor scope changes, risk and performance to plan.

– Ensure any solution has architectural compliance and strategic alignment with business objectives.

– Demonstrate proficiency in applying program management best practices to large-scale projects.

Qualifications

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

– Minimum 3 years of working experiences in program management

– Experienced in giving presentations to all levels of employees including executive leadership

– Experienced in leading cross-functional teams

– Deep understanding of project management principles and terminologies

– Experienced in analyzing data

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

– Ability to build rapport and positively influence others to drive business results

– Strong and concise written and oral communication skills

– Ability to see the big picture and align project outcomes

– Strong analytical skills and ability to differentiate between critical and noncritical information

Typical Education / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and typically 15 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 13 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
