Business Unit Description:
DTCC’s Product Management teams are responsible for developing and delivering DTCC products and services to clients across our core businesses while ensuring product competitiveness. Product Management activities range from product strategy and business planning to marketing and sales, customer experience, financial management and project management.
The Solutions Program Management Office provides project management support to enable the optimal delivery of projects across Solutions. The Senior Project Manager leverages business knowledge, analytical, organizational and communication skills to manage the planning, launch, execution and closing of DTCC Solutions’ most strategic programs and projects. Through a combination of executive presence and project management expertise, the Senior Project Manager partners with key stakeholders to share accountability for the successful delivery of business initiatives, programs and projects.
Detailed responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following areas:
Be accountable for the successful delivery of high profile and high risk programs and projects including new business, product launches, complex product enhancements, and strategic industry initiatives;
Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects both as an individual contributor and as the lead for projects employing more junior staff (e.g. project managers and analysts);
Facilitate the completion of business cases, cost/benefit analyses and any other artifacts required for successful project launch in collaboration with the appropriate stakeholders;
Contribute to the creation and management of governance structures including risk, issue and change management processes.
Take responsibility for the project planning process including developing artifacts such as project plans, product backlogs, countdown schedules and/or action items;
Lead project team meetings and/or facilitate stand-up meetings including ensuring that project obstacles, issues and risks are surfaced, documented and addressed;
Prepare executive level project reports and present project performance updates to executives, senior management and stakeholders.
Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

10+ years in a program or project management role;
5+ years’ experience in the financial services industry; and
Demonstrated experience using program and project management best practices to successfully deliver large business initiatives that achieved the desired outcomes
Bachelor’s degree or higher
PMP, CSM or similar project management certification preferred
