ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Project Manager directs workflow segments and approves decisions concerning the project cost, time and performance, based on an agreed to baseline plan requirements. The Senior Project Manager has accountability, responsibility and authority for the project planning, execution and closure processes and all project functions as they relate to Quality Control and project team leadership. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: * Aldridge Project Management or Aldridge Union background. * An outside hire should have a minimum of 7 years of successful project management experience. * Must be capable of estimating within AE system in order to produce job change orders, evaluate and apply job estimates and assist with new estimates as required. * Must have successfully produced projects as an Aldridge Project Manager, utilizing the AEs Project Management systems approach. * To remain a Senior Project Manager requires attaining and maintaining exceptional ratings, based on AE/s Human Resources annual performance reviews, after 1 year in the position. * Establish high standards of safety expectations for the projects. * Ensure each project has been planned with safety as an integral function of the job. * Become actively involved by participating in job safety meetings, training, etc. * Be an advocate for the safety program by demonstrating your commitment through your actions. * Be consistent in using and enforcing Aldridges safety policies, goals, and expectations. * Hold individuals accountable for safety in their operations. JOB SPECIFIC TASKS: * Establish, at the planning phase, Project Management, Operations Division and Support Department requirements based on the Project Managements Handbook of Policies and Procedures and corporate quality through teamwork standards. * Maintain an accurate, current and complete project record for all assigned projects. * Negotiation and approval of all charges to the project identified and tracked as bid items and cost codes, labor, materials, equipment and subcontracts. * Promote safe jobsites and work closely with Safety Department to ensure all safety issues are properly addressed. * Define, identify and lead AE Project Team Organization. * Coordinate the Project Team, (field supervision, Division resources and Support Department staff). * Establish high standards of safety expectations for the projects. * Ensure each project has been planned with safety as an integral function of the job. * Become actively involved by participating in job safety meetings, training, etc. * Be an advocate for the safety program by demonstrating your commitment through your actions. * Be consistent in using and enforcing Aldridges safety policies, goals, and expectations. * Hold individuals accountable for safety in their operations.
