At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Senior SharePoint Developer you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of mission-critical applications using Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint products, Dataverse, and Microsoft Power Platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of mission-critical applications, emphasizing SharePoint upgrades and customization.
  • Develop extranet and intranet-based applications in Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Utilize .Net, ASP.Net, C# programming languages, CSOM, and Dataverse for development tasks.
  • Work with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server for efficient development workflows.
  • Analyze user requirements, determine technical level of effort, and prepare technical design and specifications.
  • Develop, test, and implement technical solutions in alignment with project goals.
  • Advise on and review work of other analysts as needed.
  • Create prototypes and build robust, high-volume production applications.
  • Maintain and enhance reports, dashboards, workflows, approvals, and alerts.
  • Ensure all application development efforts meet or exceed client expectations.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree and 6+ years, or Graduate degree and 4+ years of SharePoint development experience.
  • Extensive experience in SharePoint upgrades, customization, and out-of-box development.
  • Proficiency in building Team Sites, Power Apps applications, Power Automate workflows, custom themes and designs, and site pages.
  • Solid experience with .Net, ASP.Net, C# programming languages, CSOM, and Dataverse.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN-WAN, Network Topology) related to application development.
  • Competence in SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online site and server administration via Central Administration and Admin Center.
  • Experience in cross-browser compatibility, support, and troubleshooting.
