Working as a senior software developer, you will research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software in the domain of accounting and collection services.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The senior software developer will be primarily responsible for technical design and development of Java batch programs using the Spring Batch framework. The batch programs are based on the Spring Framework using a job XML, tasklets, readers, processors, and writers. The input/output to these programs are flat files, XML files, and Oracle 12c database. Jobs are written using the Spring Tool Suite IDE on Windows platform and deployed to run on a Linux platform executed by Perl scripts from a scheduler. Including Unit testing and conforming to development standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The Senior Software developer must have a minimum of 15 years of technical design and development experience working on enterprise applications with the following qualifications:
– Expert in designing and developing Java batch programs using Spring Batch Framework.
– Expert in relational database concepts, understanding, and development (SQL).
– Experience of test driven development with Junit.
– Involved with all phases of the SDLC.
– Ability to work with functional team members to retrieve information required for technical design and development.
– Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
– Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
– Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
– Proficient in working on both Windows and Linux platforms.
– Proficient with code repositories (Clear Case, GIT) and defect tracking tools (Clear Quest, JIRA).
– Flexibility to adapt to working different timeframes to support working with a global team.
