Location/Division Specific Information

Canoga Park, CA / Transplant Diagnostics (TDX)

How will you make an impact?

We’re seeking a talented Software Developer to design, implement, and maintain software application. Required technical skills and experience include C#, SQL and .NET. Also required are strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with business partners and customers in a non-technical manner while delivering on business requirements and value.

What will you do?

– Participation in the development of a C#.NET application
– Ownership of specific software components and managing their life cycle
– Supporting the development team in algorithm research and development
– Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; Attention to details is critical
– Demonstrate thorough understanding and ability to use source control / configuration management tools
– Analyze current operational procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement
– Assist with the documenting detailed needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications
– Implement or modify procedures and/or processes to solve business issues considering alternatives and limitations, environment and desired results
– Demonstrate understanding of QA / QC process and test methodologies
– Comply with company’s Global IT Policies & Procedures
– Comply with FDA regulations

How will you get here?

Education / Experience

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Bioinformatics or related discipline AND 5 years of experience with C#.NET, C++, XML, .NET frameworks; OR M.S. degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Bioinformatics or related discipline AND 3 years of experience with C#.NET, C++, XML, .NET frameworks

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

– Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Web Services, and multi-threading
– Experience with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
– Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience in JSON, JavaScript, AJAX, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Microsoft Workflow Foundation (WF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), and/or MVP Frameworks
– Proficiency in LINQ
