The Role!

The primary responsibility of the Software Engineer is designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into functional, high-performance software solutions.

They are adept at writing clean, efficient code, conducting rigorous testing, and continuously improving software quality. They also contribute to system scalability, security, and innovation while adhering to best practices and industry standards. The role involves problem-solving, staying updated on emerging technologies, and delivering user-cantered solutions that drive business objectives.

Playing a pivotal role in the software development lifecycle, the Software Engineer ensures reliable and cutting-edge software products.

What you'll do…

  • Code Development: Write reusable, testable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and company standards.
  • High-performance Applications: Design and implement applications that are low latency, high-availability, and performant, ensuring optimal user experience.
  • Security and Data Protection: Ensure that all developed applications have robust security protocols.
    and data protection mechanisms in place.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements,
    brainstorm solutions and figure out detailed implementations for software challenges.
  • Data Solutions Integration: Seamlessly integrate cutting-edge data solutions into our operations,
    including but not limited to Kafka and MongoDB.

What you'll bring…

  • Experienced in software development, preferably with experience in event-driven architectures and microservices.
  • Experienced in designing secure and scalable applications.
  • Familiarity with data solutions such as Kafka and MongoDB.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Typescript and Node.js.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on emerging technologies.
  • Willingness to innovate and suggest improvements to development processes.
  • A focus on delivering solutions that meet customer needs and enhance user experience.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Software Development Engineering Team Overview

The primary purpose of a Software Development Engineer team is to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of Kantar Profiles and its customers (B2C and B2B). This team play a crucial role in building and improving software products, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and performance, and delivering value to the business and end-users.
