What you get to do in this role:
As a member of the Virtual Agents and AI Server team you will have the opportunity to become a key member developing the next generation of the Conversation and messaging based platforms and infrastructure. Responsibilities include new feature development and bug fixes related to build the next generation of applications that are based on conversation models, virtual agents and artificial intelligence. You will be responsible for building a highly scalable and flexible server run time environment that executes millions of conversational interactions in real time. The conversation server processes conversational interactions involving the processing of messages that are sent to and received from a range of different messaging clients that include messaging on smart phones, facebook messenger, Slack messaging and Skype messaging.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
Experience working as a server software engineer with 5+ years
Firm understanding of best practices for object-oriented and modularized software.
Strong understanding of server side technologies including managing services, threads, pooling, web sockets and programming in Java with these technologies.
Expertise in Artificial Intelligence technologies is a plus
Demonstrated success completing complex projects, on time
Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies quickly
