What You Need To Know * Develop operational policies, procedures, controls, and standards * Develop, implement, and maintain automation efficiencies using scripting languages (T-SQL, PowerShell) in a Windows environment * Develop and maintain implementation guides and maintenance processes and documentation * Database software certifications, roadmap planning, and maintenance management * Perform database environment capacity planning and availability management * Collaborate with partners to resolve company database policy compliance and vulnerability violations * Consult with and advise senior management on high impact database solutions and database management topics * Provide oversight, mentoring, and leadership to less experienced staff * Leads the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization’s server-class databases through development, testing, and mission-critical production environments * Consults with and advises senior management and multiple clients on high impact data or database management issues, influencing strategic direction * Handles and leads various large-scale or highly complex data/database management activities including one or more of the following: * Designing highly complex logical and physical databases in SQL Server * Leading highly complex data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning efforts What We Are Looking For * Minimum of 5+ years of expertise in SQL Database Development including SQL queries, data structures, stored procedures, index etc. * Design and develop best-practices for queries and stored procedures with best practices for use by other team members * 3+ years of experience in backup and recovery, application patching, cloning, maintenance, and problem-solving within the SQL Server environment * 3+ years of database design and administration experience * 3+ years of operating under a highly structured change management protocols and processes * 3+ years of experience in leading and supporting upgrade activities within the SQL Server 2008 or greater environment on Cloud and Preempt * 3+ years of experience with transactional, merge, and snapshot replication technologies or experience using data sync database tools such as Red Gate * 3+ years Windows Server experience, including utilization of Active Directory and Windows best practices and concepts * Advanced knowledge and experience in T-SQL coding: query writing, stored procedures, triggers and user-defined functions * Prepare data for job runs. Support jobs in the process. Troubleshoot, analyze and repair job issues * Proven ability to troubleshoot and trace data related issues throughout the code or architecture * Design and develop best-practices for queries and stored procedures with best practices for use by other team members * Establish the baseline for system performance, recognize deviation, and suggest and implement improvements to slow running queries * Configure, monitor, and maintain servers and server processes for optimal system health and performance Even Better * Mortgage Banking Experience a plus * Possess a strong analytical background is a plus * Other Database experience (Oracle, PostgreSQL or another platform) is a plus * Experience in reporting tools like Domo, Microstrategy or other is a plus * Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, working with various levels of the organization * Ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends to provide after-hours support as needed (limited basis) * Some travel may be required Sound like a good fit?
