Sr. Full Stack CMS Developer


Carbonite is searching for an experienced full-stack CMS developer

to help bring our website ambitions to life. You will be part of a core,

in-house web team dedicated to the growth and improvement of, the

company’s ecommerce and marketing hub. We recently redesigned our website,

leveraging Episerver’s new DXC Service in Azure, and we are looking forward to

rapid growth. You will be responsible for writing new code, features and

content blocks for the CMS, as well as architecting solutions. As a team, we

follow Agile methodology, and work collaboratively with other Product,

Engineering and IT groups within the company.

great place to be. Having a candidate located in or around the Boston area is

preferable, however we are open to working with a remote candidate if they are

right for the job.

Specific Objectives and Responsibilities:

Your First Three Months:

  • Familiarize

    yourself with our existing Episerver environments in Azure
  • Ramp

    up with the agency team currently responsible for supporting the website
  • Assist

    with planned deployments
  • Get

    to know the other Product, Engineering and IT teams within the company,

    and learn how we work together to create great experiences for our


Six to Twelve Months and Beyond:

  • Develop

    technical solutions and create estimates based on requirements

  • Research

    technical issues and provide recommendations for enhancements
  • Create

    and follow quality control processes, including unit testing
  • Assist

    with managing environments
  • Identify

    and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Work

    collaboratively with Product Management, UX and Design to determine the

    best methods of content implementation within Episerver

Skills & Experience:

  • 5-10

    years hands-on experience in software design and development, database

    design and development, and systems integration
  • Experience

    developing for Web Content Management and eCommerce Systems, specifically

    Episerver or Sitecore
  • Hands-on

    experience with Microsoft technologies, specifically: .NET / ASP .NET

    development, C#, SQL Server, Windows 2008/2012 server
  • Experience

    integrating and managing APIs (REST, SOAP)
  • Iterative

    approach to development, using short development cycles and frequent

  • Ability

    to develop secure solutions that follow industry best practices re:

    information security
  • Knowledge

    of latest Web 2.0 enhanced UI development (React, Angular, Vue or Polymer)

    and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, Material UI)
  • Excellent

    verbal and written communication skills
