Job Description * Design focus on Automotive Electronics Ethernet, high-speed, and wireless products. * Group is responsible for advanced development activities for communication modules that enable autonomous driving/advanced driver assistance systems. * Currently working on next generation connectivity modules including OTA update abilities. * Development projects include multi-core/high-speed hardware solutions and hardware based cyber security solutions, as well as audio video bridging (AVB). * Responsible for the hardware designs on electronic control modules including: Lead responsible hardware process activities, worst case circuit analysis and simulations, circuit design and troubleshooting systems issues. * Work directly with the internal and external customers as a technical interface. * Work directly with component suppliers and global team on selection of components. * Set up and perform electrical bench and vehicle tests, documenting in detailed technical reports. * Support product validation, EMC, and related troubleshooting activities. * Perform required development tasks to successfully launch designs into series production while following required development processes. * Support new designs and/or quotation activities. * Occasional Domestic and International Travel. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor’s Degree inan engineering discipline, or foreign equivalent. * Minimum 5 years of experience designing electrical circuits. Preferred: * Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering * Experience with RF, Ethernet, and/or high-speed signal design. * Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and global team members * Ability to debug electronic circuits and determine root cause of failures. * Ability to create supporting technical and process related documentation. * Experience designing circuits from the requirements phase, working through worst case analysis and validation for successful launch into series production.
