The Sr. Business Analyst will provide analysis, documentation and validation of business processes and systems with user-stakeholders to identify new technology processes and functional enhancements. The Sr. Business Analyst will plan, lead, and monitor the planning and executing of business analysis activities including stakeholder analysis, managing project risks and issues, monitor and report on requirements activities, participating or facilitating user acceptance testing through internal and/or external resources. Sr. Business Analysts are accountable for translating requirements into various deliverables such as functional specifications, use cases, workflow/process diagrams, data flow/data model diagrams for key strategic growth initiatives with the Merchandising & Customer Loyalty areas. Key position responsibilities include: * Leads the preparation and execution of requirements gathering, driving and documenting of stakeholder requirements and product vision through the planning, analysis, development and testing phases. * Leads the translation of stakeholder requirements into various documentation deliverables for projects with high complexity. Can accurately direct or lead the work of other BAs or outsourced vendors. * Has in-depth knowledge of business systems functionality and interconnectedness. Can effectively communicate functionality and requirements needed through all levels of the business and IT. * Leads testing plan and process for complex products and user acceptance test phases. Creates test scenarios for both phases; participates in user acceptance testing. Debugs data issues between and within systems. Basic Qualifications: * 5+ years of cumulative experience with increasing responsibilities in one more of the following areas, with demonstrated progression of responsibilities: * Business Analyst related work experience * Business Process Re-engineering/Re-design * Project Management * Product Design * System Development, Test Planning and Execution * Experience with Merchandising and/or Marketing related technologies Preferred Qualifications: * BS/BA in related field or equivalent work experience * Experience with Merchandising or Marketing related technologies * Experience with various software development methodologies (iterative, agile, waterfall, etc.) * Experience working with third party vendors, third party systems integrators, and developers onshore and offshore
