Summary: Responsible for providing enterprise clients technical leadership in the architecturedesign and implementation of desktop solutions and related technologies. The position requires the ability to be a strategic thinker and execute successfully. You will be expected to implement high-quality technical solutions based on industry best-practices and complex business and technical requirements as standardized product offerings in the enterprise. Duties and Responsibilities:
Strong in infrastructure architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments with proven record of delivery.
5+ years of experience using/developing zero touch OS migration solutions.
5+ years of experience building MSI silent installations to address first time installs and upgrades from scratch, repackaging of commercial and internal software affecting the enterprise, generating transform files & patches.
Experience with deployment methodologies such as SCCM, Adaptiva, 1E
Knowledge of Microsoft deployment and desktop management tools and technologies.
Experience with login scripts and group policy management.
Advanced scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Batch/Visual Basic/etc.).
Experience with Windows 10 security and UAC interaction with certification, discovery, packaging, and QA applications for Windows imaging, windows files structure, registry, GPO’s, etc.
Advanced knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and operating system troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Virtual Workstations and Enterprise VDI (including VMWare/Citrix/Microsoft technologies).
Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy in large enterprise environment.
Overall knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and how software interacts with them.
Ability to interact with vendors, technology experts, and application users during the development and testing process.
Strong software troubleshooting skills.
Experience creating technical documentation. Strong practical Windows systems administration skills.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Complete assigned complex and/or long-term engineering projects within budget and schedule guidelines.
Integrate and schematically depict complete architecture for communications, topologies, hardware, software, transmission, and signaling systems
Assist in the planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for complex systems, as well as, in planning, architecture design, and engineering.
Understand the technical and business aspects of creating and/or modifying an effective strategic technology plan.
Demonstrates broad experience and knowledge in application architecture for complex, cross-functional applications.
Maintain Active Directory structure to support role-base provisioning and printer/drive mappings.Assist in the development of long term strategy for desktop hardware and softwareEducation/Work Experience Required:
