Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Mid-Level Systems Engineer, you'll be a member of cross-functional hardware and system design teams responsible for the realization of newly-conceived computing and communications systems. You'll make substantial contributions to CONOPS, requirements definition, performance analysis, design, integration, and verification of these systems.

• Experience with system architecture development, requirements derivation, and suballocation
• Procient understanding of SysML modeling principles
• Experience dening system behavior and system structure
• Experience verifying and validating system models
• Understanding of communication transmission rates, formats, and waveforms
• Experience with the design of complex systems and subsystems.

What sets you apart:

• Lab experience with use of electronic test equipment
• Background in electro-optic communications, including free-space.
• Experience with the design and development of high-speed electronics hardware and packaging
• Knowledge of FPGAs
• Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success
• Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions

Workplace Options:

Target salary range: USD $142,564.00/Yr. – USD $158,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
