Technical Support Specialist


Intertek’s Certificates prevents sub-standard or prohibited products entering our client government’s countries posing a risk to the consumers. The procedures under which we operate are strictly in accordance with Intertek Quality Procedures Manual and client contractual requirements. Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities. Review technical documents, interpreting standard requirements and providing guidance to Intertek employees and our clients. Oversee registration and licensing of products. Evaluation of Test Reports. Oversee maintenance of all RoC documents and organizing the filing system. Accountable for quality of by evaluation of work, and turnaround time. All other duties as assigned Job Knowledge Skills & Experience. Experience in: International Trade, Import/Export, Logistics or similar industries. Experience in Pre- Shipment Inspections, Electro or Mechanical Engineering/Fabrication/Chemicals/Automotive or Textiles is advantageous. Knowledge of the ISO 65, ISO 17020, ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 quality management system is a plus. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese or other languages. Superior communication skills. Superior organization skills with proven ability to be able to complete tasks on time. Flexibility to work as needed to meet deadlines. Ability to travel internationally. Main Challenges Maintain knowledge of International and specific Country Quality Standards. Keep abreast of regulatory change that impact existing contracts.
