* Amazon Web Services

v. Load Balancers

vi. Strong JSON

vii. Cloud formation

viii. AWS

* Puppet

i. Manifest/Module Writing

ii. Puppet agent installation and configuration

iii. Puppet Infrastructure knowledge

* Very strong scripting and Infrastructure as Code coding experience.

i. Shell/SH/KSH

ii. Python

* Very strong understanding of proper coding techniques and software development lifecycle.

i. Experience using source code repositories such as GIT

* All aspects of systems administration

* Expertise with UNIX

i. Backup Technologies

_1. __(EMC Networker Preferred)_

ii. DNS

iii. File Systems

iv. Networking (TCP/IP)

v. Operating Systems

1. RHEL

vi. Scripting CGI, PHP, Shell, Perl or Python

vii. User Management

viii. Puppet Experience a Plus We are transitioning to Puppet for configuration automation

ix. Splunk Experience a Plus We are currently implementing Splunk

* Build Linux systems and implement them in a production environment

* Must know all aspects of the build process

iv. Virtual and Physical machines

1. Experience with Cisco UCS a strong plus

* Application Support

* Create and manage user accounts

* Software Support

i. Ability to research products and service offerings in the OpenSource/Linux community

ii. Understands how to install, configure, build and implement Linux based products

1. Perl/Python/Shell/Java/C/C++

* Production Support

* Capacity Planning
* Performance monitoring and tuning
* Troubleshooting system/network related issues
