Position Overview: Provide development and maintenance of internal and external web-based applications software for use by North American, development of software modules, as well as user training and systems documentation. Responsibilities Include: * Maintain system integrity, work within both company policy and departmental policy/standards. * Provide user support related to the use of the current system platform and associated applications software. * Advise on the creation and maintenance of programming standards used by the department to include not only those written standards for programming, but also the creation and maintenance of shell programs and departmental procedures. * Perform and direct design and analysis for new and existing functions within the application software. Responsible for the development of documentation for all system applications. Manage specific projects from design through development and implementation. * Implement program and database changes as appropriate into the production environments in accordance with departmental procedures. * Assist in the evaluation of third party productivity software products for use by the department as well as that of third party software for use by the rest of North American. * Work closely with management level and other internal users on programs and applications. Work externally with customers, in areas of demonstrations/training, vendors and consultants. The ideal candidate will have: * 7-10 years application web development experience preferred, 5-7 years Business Analysis, 3-5 years of Supervisory experience and employer presentations. * Advanced presentation skills and the ability to present to varied levels of management * Internal drive to continuously hit and exceed goals * Experience leading and motivating team * Ability to solve complex client issues This position offers a competitive starting salary and comprehensive benefits program.
