Software Designer

IBM Corporation, Austin, TX: Design modern and user-friendly products. Conduct research to base improvements on real user behavior. Ensure that products are intuitive, accessible, and usable. Conduct user interviews and surveys. Create design artifacts. Address design problems and provide design solutions. Develop detailed storyboards and interactive prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas. Utilize machine learning, HTML, Axure, user-centered design, Bohemian Sketch, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and GitHub. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Information Science, Human Computer Interaction, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Front End Software Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing machine learning, HTML, Axure, user-centered design, Bohemian Sketch, CSS, and GitHub.
