Customer & Technical Support Representative

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn MediMatrix application for customers installations
  • Receive calls/emails from clients to determine and resolve technical needs/issues
  • Respond in timely manner for support of client issues
  • Document customer issues and provide status report back to management
  • Advanced computer trouble shooting relating to MediMatrix and computer support
  • Work on assigned tasks as delegated by management
  • Make recommendations that would allow you to perform your duties more efficiently
  • First line of contact to support requests via our ticket management system
  • Work with development team on testing version releases

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledgeable about computers; primarily Windows based systems
  • Has experience downloading and installing Windows software
  • Ability to learn new software applications
  • Ability to utilize remote access software
  • Familiar Windows OS –Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience with different browser settings
  • Technical thinking/reasoning skills
  • Interest in technology as it pertains to the healthcare industry
  • Self-motivation
  • Professional demeanor
  • Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Works well independently and in a team setting

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have professional home office environment with high speed internet access
  • Must be located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area
  • 2-4 year college degree is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in a technical support role preferred
  • Ability to work rotating First and Second Shifts (i.e. some evening and some weekend)
