Applications Developer (Charlotte, NC): Conduct and monitor the performance of automatic database diagnostics, automatic workload repository, active session history, and structured query language (SQL) tuning on resource intensive statements. Optimize existing and new PL / SQL procedures and other Java- and C++ related Oracle call routines. Analyze existing C++ code and apply it to a systems development lifecycle compliant environment. Utilize Toad and other third-party database tools for SQL statements that impact production performance. Configure and tune Java application servers and memory parameters. Develop stored procedures and triggers for data loads, transformations, and management using PL / SQL and UNIX shell scripts.
