Technical Data Architect, IBM Corporation, Austin, Texas: Architect data management solutions to address requirements. Support the operation and maintenance of products, services, and solutions. Analyze situations and implement solutions. Develop new system elements, procedures or processes. Provide ongoing technical/ operational guidance to team. Define and decide objectives within specified business concept or project. Regularly participate in overall functional program planning. Utilize Hadoop, Hive, IBM BigSQL, Pig, Oozie, Java, Python and Shell Scripting.

Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Computer Programmer, Analyst or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Hadoop, Hive, IBM BigSQL, Pig, Oozie, Java, Python and Shell Scripting.
