IT Manager/Programmer

General Description-

The IT Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, and implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization’s information systems requirements.  In addition, the IT Manager serves as Chief Information Officer and Security Administrator regarding Cyber Security, and Risk & Compliance

Required Qualifications-

§  Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science

§  Experience using HTML5, CSS, ASP.NET Razor, MS SQL or other SQL database

§  Experience with C# preferred

§  Experience using Git

§  Experience using a coding IDE, preferred Visual Studio

§  Experience with Azure

§  Experience with Networking


§  Evaluate the computer and technological needs of the organization.

§  Recommend the acquisition of computer and other information systems and applications.

§  Plan and oversee the installation of applications and information security measures.

§  Enforce and monitor compliance with company policies on the use of computers, internet, and data.

§  Analyze security of systems, network, or data.

§  Recruit, hire, train and supervise information technology team members.

§  Develop the budget for IT department and information technology apparatus of the organization.

§  Monitor and maintain security on both servers and local network.

§  Monitor and update marketing and SEO on any websites.

§  Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are achieved.

§  Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and the instructions are clear.

§  Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handles specific tasks.

§  Perform revisions, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.

§  Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer.

§  Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

§  Manage information technology projects or system activities.

§  Collaborate with others to resolve information technology issues.

§  Develop detailed project plans.

§  Collect data about customer needs.

§  Develop guidelines for system implementation.

§  Identify information technology project resource requirements.

Work Activities-

§  Gathering, Analyzing, and Processing Information or Data

§  Writing Computer Programming Code

§  Writing and updating Policies and Procedures for IT infrastructure

§  Keeping appraised of updated information in cyber security

§  Resolving Computer Software Issues

§  Developing, Designing, or Creating New Applications and/or Programs

§  Observing, Receiving Information from Relevant Sources

§  Testing Software Performance


This position requires knowledge of the practical application of computer engineering and technology, as well as, the knowledge of design platforms, automation tools, and principles and procedures involved in the process of programming and developing.  Working knowledge of Delphi language and extensive work with SQL database and Access database management a must.

Technical Skills-

The IT Manager requires the effective use of all the design platforms and automation tools listed above.  In addition to advanced skills regarding MS Office, Electronic Mail, and all Internal Databases.


As an IT Manager, good judgement and decision making, critical and creative thinking, and are all important skills needed to function effectively.  Skills regarding quality control analysis, operations analysis, and systems evaluation are all vital. Data Management, organizational skills, and effective time management skills are also a must.


This position requires the ability to exercise problem sensitivity and problem resolution regarding software development/enhancement.  It is necessary to maintain effective time management and properly prioritize projects.  Exercising the ability to honor and maintain strict confidentiality is a must.
