Midland Health is seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to work Full Time 8:00A – 5:00P, Monday – Friday.Here is what you will do:You, as an Application Support Analyst will work as a part of Department of Information Technology, while providing system-level support of multi-users in clinical, and financial applications, as well as operating systems, hardware, software, and reporting tools; including installation, configuration, training, maintenance, and support of these systems. As a member of this team, you will have a chance to work on cutting edge projects (EMR Implementation) and initiatives being adopted in an ever changing healthcare environment. Your purpose as an Application Support Analyst is to deliver support to end users in the organization about how to use various types of software programs efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives of providing superior patient care.You as the will be instrumental in implementing Cerner Meillennium an interactive patient system throughout Midland Health in order to promote patient engagement, and education. You will be working independently, as the Application Support Analyst and you will be responsible for creating reports and data extracts to effectively visualize workflow and process improvements. You will also be installing, configuring the EMR (Cerner) software and assists in project tasks as part of clinical implementation, including: interface development, data conversion, building system components, testing and documentation of interface specifications for Cerner Orders Management. You will be responsible for your ability to establish project goals, milestones, procedures will be demonstrated by successfully monitoring and ensuring clients achieve their implementation goals and milestones while managing projects with varying levels of complexity; i.e. Accountable; your follow up on all commitments. You will excel at creating detailed documentation, data entry, and reporting by evaluating documented resolutions and analyzing trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems. You will also create and deploy feedback mechanisms for end users from analyzing results, make recommendations for supporting process improvements, and implementing changes. Lastly you will, successfully communicate with diverse clinical, and patient populations, as well as, all level of Healthcare Providers.Knowledge and what you will bring: You should have knowledge of Cerner Millennium systems including but not limited to; Discern Expert (Rules), Powerplans, interface testing and Command Language (CCL/Discern Explorer), SurgiNet and Anesthesia Solutions. Your understanding of data modeling, database design principals, programming, change management processes, and system development lifecycles will facilitate timely work plans. Your comprehensive knowledge of EMR Implementation project management concepts and methodology will be utilized to lead and participate in project planning sessions. If you have basic experience with Windows operating systems, Unix, TCP/IP, FTP, scripting and SQL is a plus. Familiarity with clinical Operating Room operations is a plus. Solid skills in the use of Windows, MS Office Suite including Outlook, MS. * 2-4 years of experience as an application support analyst strongly preferred. * Application Support Analyst Data – Experience with the following: Cerner, Epic or Meditech.
