Looking to join the world’s largest Healthcare IT company? Cerner in Malvern, PA is growing and is in search of our next Associate Lead Software Engineer on our HDX team. As part of our team, you will work with the analyst to implement the requirements, documents the provided solution, tests the solution and solve found defects. In this role you’ll support an agile project methodology, you will perform a variety of technical tasks, in addition to following all process and procedures, escalating issues, and creating/updating all documentation necessary. You’ll be accountable that quality applications are developed to meet specified business needs. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience


At least 5 years of software engineering work experience

Preferred Qualifications


Experience with transformation toolkits:


IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) or Websphere Transformation Extender (WTX)


Edifecs SpecBuilder and MapBuilder


Experience with object oriented programming, Java


Experience with JASON, XML, XPATH


Experience with IBM Mainframe: JCL, IOF, ISPF


Knowledge of X12 270/271, 835, 837

Expectations


Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations


Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position


Perform other responsibilities as assigned
