Ensure applications to prospect and track pipeline and business at risk contain accurate data. Implement firm-wide data strategy of prospect and client applications. Migrate and integrate data held in legacy data stores seamlessly to strategic or interim stores without internal client impact or interruption of service. Partner with related groups to initiate controlled data change requests (Party and account maintenance – PAM, on boarding etc) and align road maps. Partner with strategic data source providers such as Mosaic. Influence and align provision of required data points. Design strategies for the applications suite databases and data repositories. Coordinate migration to strategic sources. Ensure that data flows are monitored and missed feeds are flagged and resolved. Ensure that requests from data from applications are met in a performant manner and log the application performance point actively alerting when issues are identified.

Support specific application and data base knowledge of Client Connect, Workstation, and Adviser Connect. Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and business users as part of a global team to interpret the requirements and evaluate technology solutions. Create technical design documents for developing and integrating programs per functional specifications. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements for issues and enhancements, and outline the proposed IT solution. Perform unit testing and system integration testing of the newly developed functionality. Create data models and examine applications to ensure adherence to Application Engineering guidelines, processes, and procedures. Evaluate production issues and suggest corrective action to production support team to address underlying system problems and/ data inefficiencies.

Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum experience required: 5 years of application development experience, database experience, or related experience.

Skills Required: Must have experience with database administration, modelling and performance tuning techniques using tools such as Sql Developer, sql query optimizer, SQL Sentry for major market vendors such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase. Must have experience with Microsoft CRM Dynamics customization and integration tools such as Outlook plugin, plugin, workflows jobs. Must have experience with data privacy and data regulatory applied to systems development utilizing techniques such as data encryption (at rest and in motion), data isolation, DLP (data loss prevention), data access control, data sanitization, data masking etc. Must have experience with programming languages and system development lifecycle using Java, c#, shell, power shell, and python and frameworks like WCF, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data. Must have experience with system architecture and design. Must have experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Load) techniques and best practices utilizing tools such as Informatica, Spring Batch/Integration. Must have experience with CICD (Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery) and enterprise system performance measurement using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Dynatrace, Splunk, Foglight, and Introscope. Must have experience with static and dynamics code analysis (including test coverage, code quality, coding standards, vulnerability scan, penetration test) using tools such as Junit, Moles, JV Unit, Script Sharp. Must have experience with design and build of reporting and data exploration systems utilizing tools such as Crystal, Jasper, and Microsoft SSRS.
